Prof Dr med Marc Pfister
Marc Pfister is a professor of Pharmacometrics and Pharmacology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel, Switzerland. He is currently acting as the Vice-Chair of Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology at the Children's University Hospital Basel, UKBB (www.ukbb.ch), head of the Swiss Pediatric Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Research Center, SwissPedPha (www.swisspednet.ch), Vice President and senior consultant at Certara, a leading global consulting company (www.certara.com). Moreover, Prof Pfister is a co-founder of the MedTech company NeoPrediX, a spin-off company of UKBB, University of Basel (www.neopredix.com). His passion is to advance and implement precision medicine and digital health solutions. He is keen on developing clinical decision support systems (CDSS) to optimize and personalize diagnostics and treatment in pediatric and adult patients. Prof Pfister has more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and regular presentations at international conferences.
