Most food allergies begin in childhood and predispose to a lifetime of allergy management. The first clinical manifestation of food allergy is often dramatic and it is possible to experience anaphylactic shock. Therefore, early identification and prevention of children at risk before first clinical manifestation are extremely important requirements.

The third NAMBIO Symposium took place from 20.10.2023 - 21.10.2023 in Leipzig. On the first day, the consortium members discussed current topics and challenges of the various subprojects, while on the second day a workshop was held for the members of the stakeholder committee. This NAMIBIO meeting was the first in which stakeholders were also present. The NAMIBIO consortium would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the valuable input and exchange.

From 08th to 9th of december 2022 the NAMIBIO members met again in Leipzig to discuss their current milestones and challenges.

During this meeting, the consortium members were able to discuss the milestones of each sub-project in a comprehensive way.
